The male Northern Fence Lizard (common in Arkansas). Males have the stunning blue throat and belly patches. Females are smaller and have very little color beneath. Its diet consists of arthropods, a family of animals that includes insects, arachnids, millipedes and wasps.
You may find the pose a little odd, with it's head and tail up. I photographed the lizard on a tree, so the angle of the photo is actually vertical, but for display, I've found horizontal to be more interesting.
