Enter the New Year!

As the New Year enters, it's time to shed the old and welcome the new.
Here are a few images from today as I explored. These are all infrared and were taken during late afternoon as the sun began to reach closer to the horizon.

Graffiti under overpass

An interesting find in a remote area - graffiti under a small, Interstate overpass. I shot this as a high-dynamic range (HDR) image and found it a fun challenge, as well as visually interesting.

The Warmth of an Autumn Sunrise...

This is an Autumn sunrise from 2008. I often enjoy rummaging through some past photos, looking for a batch I have yet to edit. This was a random find from November 2008. I waited for a peak in the color, and a break from the rain to capture this image that season. Hope you enjoy.

Yesterday's Friendly Encounters...

Here's a fun shot from yesterday. At first, you'll just see the three raccoons, but you'll soon see the doe at the base of the tree. :)
