"Shadow Colors"...

Being in the shadow can often allow you to see beauty not otherwise seen in the light. I photographed this pink dogwood bloom over 10 years ago.

Silver Moon over Golden, Colorado.

Twenty years ago, I photographed this herd of cattle in the snow, as the moon sets over the mountains in Golden, Colorado. I like the high contrast and minimalistic nature of this photograph. Ironically, this photograph's depth is deceiving when viewing close. If you view from afar, you actually see more depth.
Hope you enjoy.

"Water Dimensions"...

Water has many sides and dimensions. Oftentimes, we may not even need to look beyond the surface to see another dimension. In this particular photograph, the mix of water mist and the high constrast of sunlight offer a dimension which the shadow of the tree can be seen on the surface of the water.

"Energy in a Flash"...

So far, this is one of my better multi-strike, lightning photographs. There was a time I was a weather chaser, which had placed me in very dangerous predicaments. I've learned many lessons about lightning, to which I don't actively pursue these photographs as often as I used to.

"At the End of the Day"...

Each of us have a different way of reflecting at the end of the day. For some, it's the satisfaction of leaving the world a better place, for others it's just surviving another day in a tractor or jet in the sky. Whichever way, take a moment to appreciate the experiences you had, even if all you experienced was the wind and leaves of a tree.
