John W. Hinkle homestead...

Built in the early 1870's by John W. Hinkle, it was home for a family of ten (8 children). The family homesteaded 160 acres at this site. John & Lucy's eighth child, Dan, was born here in 1876.

"Shadow Colors"...

Being in the shadow can often allow you to see beauty not otherwise seen in the light. I photographed this pink dogwood bloom over 10 years ago.

Silver Moon over Golden, Colorado.

Twenty years ago, I photographed this herd of cattle in the snow, as the moon sets over the mountains in Golden, Colorado. I like the high contrast and minimalistic nature of this photograph. Ironically, this photograph's depth is deceiving when viewing close. If you view from afar, you actually see more depth.
Hope you enjoy.
